The fair is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the library's program rooms.

The library itself provides opportunities for teens seeking to log volunteer hours.

Students can apply online to help out in multiple departments at the library, including in the children's library, with Tech Teens, and as a library's helper. Tech Teens must be in grades 9 to 12, while students in grades 7 to 12 can volunteer for the other roles, the library application says.

The Teen Advisory Board -TAB meetings count as volunteer hours and also give teens the opportunity to voice their opinions about purchases and programming for the library, the application says.

The Bernards Township Library is located near the center of Basking Ridge at 32 S. Maple Ave.
