BERNARDS TWP., NJ _ Construction is due to begin on the replacement of the retaining wall along Old Army Road on Monday, May 20, and to last for three to four weeks, the township announced.

During the project, the full width of Old Army Road will be blocked between the driveways at no. 253 to no. 263 Old Army Road without affecting any driveway access, the township said.

Old Army Road between Old Farm Road and Hardscrabble Road will be closed to through traffic, the township said. Only local traffic will be allowed to access residences in this area. A detour will be in place, according to the township.

Drivers are asked to follow all traffic control signs and use caution while driving through the area.
