BEDMINSTER, NJ - President Donald Trump will not be coming to Bedminster this weekend.

In a late change to his weekend schedule, Trump on Friday afternoon called off plans to spend the weekend at his estate in Somerset County. The Presidential Daily Schedule had initially called for him to arrive at Morristown Airport late Friday afternoon.

It would have been Trump's second visit to Bedminster in the last three weekends. Two weeks ago, Trump's visit to New Jersey included dinner with Democrat Governor Phil Murphy.

In a tweet at 5:15 p.m. Friday, Trump said:

"I was going to go to Bedminster, New Jersey, this weekend, but wanted to stay in Washington, D.C. to make sure LAW & ORDER is enforced. The arsonists, anarchists, looters, and agitators have been largely stopped. I am doing what is necessary to keep our communities safe — and these people will be brought to Justice!"
