BERNARDS TWP., NJ _ Continuing road reconstruction is scheduled to close a section of Manchester Drive between Brandeis Court and Juniper Way for several hours on Thursday, Oct. 3, weather permitting.

The township announced that absolutely no vehicular traffic will be allowed on that section of Manchester Drive between 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., with the exception of emergency vehicles if necessary. 

Residents urged to make alternate parking arrangements

All on-street parking is also prohibited on this section of Manchester Drive between 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., according to notification from the township on Wednesday afternoon. 

Residents were advised to make alternate parking arrangements on Manchester Drive between Brandeis Court and South Maple Avenue or on Juniper Way between South Maple Avenue and Manchester Drive, according to the township.

Motorists are asked use caution while driving through the area, as there may be loose gravel and/or raised manholes.

The township's notification also cautioned drivers to follow all posted signs and detours, and to take care while driving through the construction work areas.
