SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health on Tuesday reported an increase of eight COVID-19 cases in the entire county on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in Somerset County to 4,248 since the start of the pandemic.

New Jersey has recorded a total of 169,892 positive cases of COVID-19 since the first hospitalization 113 days ago, according to Wednesday's update from the state Department of Health. Governor Phil Murphy reported 307 new cases at his Wednesday media briefing.

There was one additional case of the virus in Bernards Township, which has had a total of 273 cases.

COVID-19 Testing will continue at Raritan Valley Community College, located at 118 Lamington Road on Thursday, July 2. Somerset County residents who are exhibiting symptoms and have an appointment can visit the drive-thru COVID-19 testing center between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
