Registration Begins Feb. 12 for Bernards Summer Recreation and Trip Programs

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - As ice covers local homes, streets, and playgrounds, it's time to think ahead - to next Monday, Feb. 12, when signup begins for the Bernards Township summer recreation programs for kindergarten through grades 5.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. online or in person at the recreation department on the lower level of town hall at 1 Collyer Lane in Basking Ridge.

Registration will also begin that same day for the recreation department's Summer Trip program for that same age group.

The Bernards Township Department of Parks and Recreation offers activities for all ages throughout the year, although summer months are an especially busy time. Each July is Parks and Recreation Month, with many events, including the annual Plays in the Park in the amphitheater in Pleasant Valley Park off Valley Road.
