BERNARDS TWP., NJ - Whether it's a photo public landmark or a private moment that captures life in Basking Ridge, the township Parks & Recreation Department is seeking photos that capture the "essence" of Bernards Township.
However, prints of entries with a completed entry form must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 7, at the recreation department office at town hall, 1 Collyer Lane, Basking Ridge. Photos taken within the township in 2017 and 2018 are eligible for entry.
All township residents, children and adults, are invited to submit their photos. An entry form and complete submission guidelines are on the Bernards Township website.
Submissions will be judged on photographic quality, appropriateness to theme, creativity and composition, according to the Parks & Recreation department. First, second and third place, along with honorable mentions, will be selected in each age category.
The Parks and Recreation department is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All entries will be showcased at the Bernards Township 24th Annual Charter Day Celebration on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
