Option to purchase tickets "at door" now replaced with all-advance ticket sales

"There has been a tremendous amount of interest and 'likes' to BRFCO’s upcoming Taste of Basking Ridge fundraiser," the fire company said in a Feb. 29 post on its Facebook page. "For that we are very thankful."

However, the post added, "To assist our planners in setup and logistics, we will be removing the 'at the door' ticket option and ask that everyone register in advance, according to information on BRFCO's Facebook page and website, where attendees can register and pay online. "This will ensure proper quantities and seating. Thanks for your understanding."

Bernards Township Committeeman John Carpenter brought up the event at lastTuesday's Township Committee meeting, and reminded the public that BRFCO remains an all-volunteer organization.

The event will be held at the Basking Ridge Firehouse, 30 Washington Ave., in Basking Ridge.

The cost is $30 for adults (preregistered).
