The annual Niche.com rankings examine schools, crime, home values, nightlife, family friendliness, diversity and income.

Bedminster is ranked 36th in Best Places to Live in New Jersey. Bernardsville is ranked 37th in Best Places to Live in New Jersey.

The top community the Niche 2019 ranking of Best Places to Live in New Jersey was Princeton Junction, followed by No. 2 Upper Montclair, No. 3 Princeton, No. 4 Princeton Meadows, No. 5 Ridgewood, No. 6 Jersey City’s Waterfront, No. 7 Westfield, No. 8 Short Hills, No. 9 Highland Park and No. 10 Haddonfield.
