BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Another game, another shutout victory for the Ridge girls soccer team.

Sam Weyrauch scored two goals and assisted on one to lift Ridge to its sixth consecutive victory, 5-0, over North Hunterdon on Tuesday. The Red Devils (11-3) have shut out each of their last six opponents.

Girls Tennis: Ridge Loses to Watchung Hills, 3-2, in Sectional Final

WARREN, NJ - The Ridge girls tennis team was looking for its second consecutive sectional title, but the Red Devils fell, 3-2, to Watchung Hills in the Section 2, Group 4 championship round on Tuesday.

The match was the third meeting of the fall between the two Somerset County rivals. The teams had divided a pair of 4-1 decisions in the regular season.

Boys Soccer: Ridge Season On The Upswing

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Ridge boys soccer team won a pair of games last week, defeating Phillipsburg and Plainfield each by 2-1 scores.

In their victory over Phillipsburg, the Red Devils got goals from senior Will Perry and junior Gabe Jefferies. Junior Franklin Arcos had both assists. Junio goalie Jason Clingensmith made 14 saves.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Katie Arrigan scored both goals to give Ridge a 2-0 girls soccer victory in the quarterfinal round of the Somerset County Tournament on Saturday.

BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Ridge Girls Volleyball beats North Hunterdon 25-17, 33-31 in the match of the season.   

Ridge trailed 12-20 in second set and stormed back to win 33-31 to remain undefeated in the Skyland Conference with an 
unblemished record of 12-0.  

Ridge was led by Chelsea Winegar with nine kills and 11 digs, Peyton Robb with six kills and 11 digs.

Boys Soccer: Ridge Edges Phillipsburg, 2-1

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ - Ridge scored both goals in the second half to surge to a 2-1 boys soccer victory over Phillipsburg on Thursday.

Wil Perry and Gabe Jefferies scored for Ridge (3-8) after a 0-0 first half. Franklin Arcos gave the assists on both Red Devils' goals.

The Ridge Wrestling Club, is now accepting registrations for Basking Ridge residents for the 2017/2018 season. Practices will be at the Ridge High School wrestling room beginning on Nov. 1, and running through February.
