BASKING RIDGE, NJ -- Montgomery rallied from a five-point halftime deficit for a 45-37 boys basketball victory over Ridge Friday night.
A ferocious defensive effort led Ridge to a 12-4 lead after one quarter, and a 21-16 lead at halftime. However, Montgomery outscored Ridge, 15-2, over a span that covered a good portion of the second and third quarters, and took a commanding lead of 33-26 into the final quarter.
Nate Herrera finished with 15 point, four steals and two assists for Ridge (2-3). Jayden Hylton cleared 11 rebounds to go with six points.
