PHILLIPSBURG, NJ -- The Ridge boys soccer team continues to register improvement, delivering a 3-2 victory over Phillipsburg on the road on Thursday.

Brian Arrigan scored two goals for the Red Devils (2-3-1), who had a 2-0 lead at halftime. David Bartnik scored the other goal for Ridge, and freshman Ryan Poignant assisted on two of the Red Devil goals.

Robbie Rutkowski made 11 saves for Ridge, which already has exceeded its victory total for the entire 2018 season. The Red Devils have a 9 a.m. home game Saturday against Franklin.
