VERNON, NJ – Eight Ridge skiers wrapped up the 2020 season by qualifying and competing in the New Jersey Interscholastic Ski Racing Association Race of Champions last month at Mountain Creek Ski Resort in Vernon.

Three Ridge girls placed in the top 25: Annie Mohan 13th (2:43.91), Liz Ingraham 15th (2:48.48) Aidyn Thompson, 25th (3:03.50).

Two Ridge boys placed in the top 25: Mark Minsch 15th (2:38.92), Kieran O’Connor 19th (2:40.76). Rishi Kundargi 26th (2:44.83), Brandon Mark 33rd (2:50.58), Zach Pedicone 34th (2:50.80).

Liz. Ingraham, senior and captain ended her Ridge racing career by saying, "Although today was an individual race, I’m proud of my teammates' accomplishments. It’s going to be hard to say goodbye to this team."

Head coach John Fico leads the team along with assistant coaches Alex Ballas, Kate Bondy, Ben Carroll, Val Cetrulo and Jamie Scott.

“They should all be very proud to have qualified for such a prestigious event," Fico said. "The kids raced their hearts out today with some pretty nice results.”
