BASKING RIDGE, NJ -- The Ridge field hockey team opened its season with an 8-2 victory over Montgomery Tuesday night.

Leading, 4-2, at halftime, the Red Devils broke away with four unanswered goals in the second half. Anne Kleinle, Jaclyn Narleski, Clare Guliano and Erin Macchiarolla scored two goals apiece.     

Zoe McGowan, Megan Olsen and Taylor Ligozio each contributed two assists, and Lauren Lusardi provided one assist. Emma Albee came up with four saves for Ridge, which outshot Montgomery, 11-6.
