BASKING RIDGE, NJ -- Four players scored in double digits and the Ridge girls basketball team quickly turned the game into a runaway in a 75-35 victory over Edison in the first round of the Len Sepanak Tournament Friday night.

Taylor Smith scored 14 points for the Red Devils (3-0), who raced to a 24-3 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Lauren Lusardi and Sophie Beneventine each scored 12 points and Delaney Donohoe hit for 11 points for Ridge, which will play Hunterdon Central Saturday night at 7 p.m. in the second of the three-round tournament.
