BASKING RIDGE, NJ -- The Ridge ice hockey team is off to a 3-0 start, navigating a busy early schedule with three victories in a four-day span.

The Red Devils defeated Wall Township on the road, 7-3, Friday evening for their third victory. On Wednesday, Ridge shut out Bridgewater-Raritan, 7-0, at Protec Ponds in Somerset.

Junior wings Colin Kirkwood and Erik Helgusen each scored two goals against Bridgewater. Ty Ebeling and Matt Balzarotti each had one goal and two assists and Zach Alvin scored one goal. Freshman forward Reese Judson helped with three assists in the win over Bridgewater, and goalie Tommy Vitolo made eight saves.
