BASKING RIDGE, NJ -- Ridge swept the boys and girls team titles at the Somerset County Cross-Country Championships Wednesday at Pleasant Valley Park.

The Ridge boys team totaled 42 points, led by sophomore Jackson Barna's first-place finish in 15:52.9. Barna's time set a school record for the course. Will Pinto of Ridge came in eighth at 16:37.1, Chris Strain was ninth at 16:41.2, James Kisker 11th at 16:43 and Jake Dobrowolski 13th at 16:50.8.

The Ridge girls team totaled 34 points, led by Manon Stephen's fourth-place showing with a time of 18:48. Right behind her was teammate Katelyn King in fifth with  19:41.

Three other Red Devils runners finished among the girls top 10: Grace LaCapra (19:59) in seventh, Jamie Melillo (20:08) in eighth and Samantha Shimsky (20:19) in 10th.
