MONTGOMERY, NJ --  Ridge swimmers posted multiple personal best times and there were six team records that were set during the meet on Tuesday, even though both the boys' and girls' teams lost to Montgomery.

Swimming for the Ridge girls junior Maggie Hannis set a new team record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1.08.77 (previous record 1.09.81). Freshman Emily Wang set new team records in the 50-yard Free with a time of 24.84 seconds  (previous record 24.99) and in the 100-yard free with a time of 53.48 seconds (previous record 53.77).

For the Ridge boys, senior Chris Fabian set two more team records by swimming the 50-yard Free in 21.70 seconds (breaking his previous record 21.89), and in the 100-yard Free with a swim of 47.20 seconds (previous record 47.47).  The 200 Free Relay team, composed of Fabian, sophomore Daniel Xia, senior Ethan Chiu and junior AJ Capizzi, set a new team record of 1.31.28 (previous record 1.31.68).

Additionally, the girls 200 Medley, 200 Free and 400 Free relay teams and the boys 200 Free and 400 Free relay teams all qualified for the Meet of Champions.
