Bayonne Bridge Closing Twice This Weekend

BAYONNE, NJ – The Bayonne Bridge will close overnight on Friday, Oct. 14 and Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 p.m. each night to 8 a.m. the following days for “Raise the Roadway” project work, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey announced.

The bridge also closes during the week from Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Mondays through Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

On certain weekdays, the bridge opens earlier at 4:30 a.m. to provide an alternate route for drivers affected by 4:30 to 5 a.m. traffic holds on the Goethals Bridge.
