Bayonne St. Patrick's Kick-Off Event Set for March 15

Mayor Jimmy Davis announced that Thursday, March 15, will be St. Patrick’s Day Kick-Off Night Bayonne.  Mayor Davis is presenting the event in coordination with the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation (BEOF), Bayonne’s community action agency.  The event will take place on March 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,  at the Knights of Columbus Building, which is located at 669 Avenue C.  Mayor Davis said, “This kickoff event will be an enjoyable part of the St. Patrick’s season in Bayonne.  Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate.”

The evening will feature the music of The Celtic Connection, a Philadelphia-based Irish band.  The Celtic connection has played at festivals, theme parks, parades, and Irish pubs.  The three-member group performs Irish music with vocals, guitar, mandolin, and keyboards.

The admission price for the event is $25.  That price cover the music, food, and beverages.  The event will benefit the BEOF, which provides services to people in need in Bayonne and Hudson County.
