Bayonne Students Work to Define the Civil War

Participants in the Civil War Enrichment Program currently being offered by the Social Studies Department of the Bayonne Public Schools are pictured working collaboratively to define the Civil War. They are also pictured using virtual reality technology to tour Gettysburg Battlefield in preparation for their trip on July 20. Additionally, students will spend a day at the New York Historical Society and cook Civil War era recipes with Bayonne High School Culinary Arts teacher, Mr. Joe Barbero. This program was generously funded by the Bayonne Educational Foundation.
