CarePoint Health-Bayonne Medical Center Busy at Bayonne Hometown Fair

Amanda Klich (left) of Bayonne has her blood pressure checked by a CarePoint Health nurse.

As part of its ongoing community service efforts, CarePoint Health-Bayonne Medical Center performed dozens of free screenings for city residents during the Bayonne Hometown Fair on June 10 and 11.

Residents stopped by the CarePoint Health van parked on Broadway to have their blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels checked.

One of those residents was Amanda Klich, who said she was happy that CarePoint was there to help her maintain her health.

“I like it,” Klich said. “I think it’s good because I don’t make it to the doctor much. If I get the screenings done here, I know I’m okay.”

CarePoint Health was a sponsor of the Hometown Fair.

CarePoint is Bayonne’s local health care provider, offering a full continuum of care to city residents. This comprehensive program often begins with the response of McCabe Ambulance, a CarePoint partner. It continues with care from the Bayonne Medical Center Emergency Department, diagnostic departments, and inpatient and outpatient services.
