BAYONNE, NJ - City officials and engineering experts will discuss Bayonne’s proposed plan to reduce street flooding caused by stormwater and basement back-ups by better controlling Bayonne’s combined sewer overflow system, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
The meeting, scheduled for Thursday, October 17, will be held at the second floor gallery of the Bayonne Public Library and begin at 6:30 p.m.
Bayonne, like 20 other New Jersey towns is facing new statewide sewer system requirements.
Three rain barrels will be raffled off at the end of the meeting and light refreshments will be served, the meeting announcement read.
