BAYONNE, NJ - Restaurants and shops up and down Broadway, between 18th and 25th Streets will take to the street Thursday for the Dine Out and Shop Out Event on Broadway. The event will run from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with participating restaurants setting up tables, chairs, and tents on the street and participating stores having sidewalk sales. The event will also feature live music.

“The Dine Out and Shop Out Night in the Second Ward will build on the success of the recent Maskerade event in Bergen Point in the First Ward,” City Council President Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski, the event's organizer said. “We are expanding the night out concept to other areas of town and promoting business in all parts of Bayonne.”

“These special events are all about supporting local restaurants and small businesses during this trying time.”  Mayor Jimmy Davis said, “I would like to thank Council President Ashe-Nadrowski and all participating restaurants and retail businesses for planning this great event.  We should all do whatever we can to support our local small business community.”
