Dr. Dominick Condo and George Lavelle to be Honored by Association

BAYONNE, NJ – Bayonne physician Dominick Condo and Bridgemen Drum & Bugle Corps leader George Lavelle have been selected as the 2016 Men of the Year by the Gary La Pelusa Association and will be honored at a dinner in the fall.

The two were chosen for their “selfless dedication, loyalty and constant compassion to the Bayonne community,” according to the organization.

Condo has had an internal medicine practice for more than 25 years. He is an attending physician at the Bayonne Medical Center-CarePoint Health, the Jersey City Medical Center and St. Ann’s Nursing Home in Jersey City. Condo has been married to the former Gloria Szpakowski for 36 years.

Lavelle has been a Bridgeman performer, instructor, drill designer and board member, and its Alumni Corps director for more than 30 years. He is a member of the New Jersey Drum Corps and Bridgemen halls of fame. Lavelle is married to the former Teresa Holmes.
