BAYONNE, NJ - Bayonne children are being reminded to leave a carrying case open for their Elf on the Shelf so that they may attend the Hometown Fair Association's first annual Elf Meet Up on Saturday. The event is will be held at the Catholic War Veterans, 18 West 23rd Street, from noon until 5:00 p.m. and is free.

Children will know that touching your resident elf takes away their magic, but Carrissa Golomb, president of the Hometown Fair Association, has promised, the event will feature an elf medic station in the event of an accidental brush with curious humans!

The child with the most creative elf carrier will win a $25 give card to Resse's Hair Pieces.

While the anticipated bad weather has led to the cancellation of the trackless train, their will also be an elf scavenger hunt, snack station, and other fun. Children will also be able to get their pictures taken with Santa for free!

The Elf Meet Up will also serve as a donation station for toys for Angelina's Army and in memory of fallen Jersey City Police Detective Joseph Seals.
