BAYONNE, NJ -- The undefeated Bayonne girls basketball team won their ninth consecutive game to start the season, defeating Union City, 63-27, Tuesday night.

Makoye Diawara scored 15 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, made five steals and passed for two assists for the Bees, who outscored Union City, 17-6, in the second quarter to open a 35-17 lead.

Logine Moustafa scored 12 points and Eniya Scott totaled nine points, eight assists, seven rebounds and five steals for Bayonne, which will look for victory No. 10 Thursday at Dickinson in Jersey City.
