BAYONNE, NJ - Ringo Starr of the Beatles once sang a song about being put in a movie. But local Bayonne businesspeople do not have to become one of the fab four to get that privilege.

Mayor Jimmy Davis, picking up from the virtual Earth Day ceremonies he conducted in April, will be making a film called Bayonne Strong which will feature Bayonne business owners standing in front of their businesses.

While the Earth Day event was designed to help people cope with the COVID-19 pandemic that prevented groups from gathering for the annual citywide cleaning effort, the new video is designed to show how Bayonne businesspeople managed to survive even after months of being shut down.
