Social Studies Department's Civil War Enrichment

The Social Studies Department's Civil War Enrichment program continued this week with two special programs. On Thursday, July 20, 50 students toured the hallowed ground of Gettysburg Military Park where over 50,000 soldiers suffered casualties in the bloodiest battle of the Civil War. On Wednesday, July 19, Bayonne High School Social Studies teacher and Civil War expert, Mr. Larry Sangi, treated students to a show and tell of his rich array of Civil War era artifacts. Thanks to these exciting activities, everyone had a great week.
