BAYONNE, NJ - Street-sweeping enforcement will be back in effect on Monday, city officials have announced. “As we are now nearing our second month of social distancing directives, we are hoping that we are getting closer to our return to normal,” Mayor Jimmy Davis said in a phone call earlier this month.
While street-sweeping has continued throughout this public health emergency Davis ordered the Bayonne Parking Utility to stop issuing summonses for numerous parking regulations. “Now that we are gearing towards our return, we need to start the sweeper enforcement again, so we can get our streets clean.
