JERSEY CITY, NJ - In an effort to help businesses recover from the COVID-19 shutdown, the Hudson County Economic Development Corporation is offering a four-part series of free live webinars.
The HCEDC is a not-for-profit corporation in Hudson County that, in partnership with governmental, educational, civic and nonprofit partners, supports business retention, expansion and community development initiatives and provides business training and mentoring programs.
"During these challenging times, we aim to kick-start your strategic thinking process and help you navigate the reopening of your business to ensure its ongoing sustainability," a flyer for the event read.
The first of these, taking place on Wednesday, June 10, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. will offer reemphasizes the fundamentals of business ownership, with a focus on refreshing the business plan for sustainability.

Wednesday, June 17, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Marketing Strategy
Wednesday, June 24, 1:00-2:30 p.m., Basic Financial Statements and Profitability
Wednesday, July 1, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m., Projecting Financial Results.
Each workshop includes a Q&A session with academic faculty from Hudson County Community College and representatives from the Small Business Development Center at New Jersey City University.
