BAYONNE, NJ – Work on the New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s Interchange 14A Improvement Project will necessitate a lane change on Route 440 this week, turnpike officials said.

On or close to Wednesday, June 15, the current two northbound Route 440 travel lanes will be divided between Pulaski Street and Harbor Drive in Bayonne.

The left lane will be maintained in its current “through” alignment, but the right lane will be shifted east (to the right) adjacent to the northbound off ramp alignment.
