BAYONNE, NJ- The annual Bergen Point Fall Festival, hosted by the Bayonne UEZ and the City of Bayonne is scheduled for Saturday. Held in conjunction with Bergen Point merchants, the free family fun event will take place from 5th Street to Cottage Street on Broadway from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Last year’s event welcomed over 4,000 people to the area, according to organizers, with this year’s again expected to draw large crowds to enjoy the music, entertainment, food, and specialty shopping opportunities that will be on offer.

Among the highlights of the event will be dog costume contest with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. Registration for the costume contest starts at 11:30 a.m. and the contest start at noon.

“The Bergen Point Falls Festival has become one of the most anticipated events on Bayonne’s calendar,” Mayor Jimmy Davis told TAPinto Bayonne. “I’m excited to once again get out in to the community and celebrate everything that’s so great about our city.”
