BAYONNE, NJ - City officials are gearing up for the fifth annual Bayonne Hometown Fair to be held this Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9.

The 2019 fair featuring food, games, rides, vendors, and musical entertainment, will be held long Broadway, from 21st Street to 25th Street, and along 23rd Street to DelMonte Drive in the west and to Church Lane in the east.

On Saturday the fair will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

“The 2018 fair was a great success.  Dozens of organizations, businesses, entertainers, and volunteers are working to make sure that this year’s fair is even better,” Mayor Jimmy Davis said. “I look forward to seeing everyone have a great time at this year’s Hometown Fair.”

Among the highlights of this fairs will be a 55-foot ferris wheel and several other mechanical rides, a skate demonstration, live art installations, a dunk tank to raise money for local non-profit organizations, a beer garden on 23rd Street operated by the Vic Tavern, and a donut eating contest hosted by Judicke’s Bakery.

While tickets for the rides can be purchased at the fair several inflatable rides sponsored by the Bayonne Urban Enterprise Zone will be available for children free of charge.

There will be two stages set up, with the Main Stage on 23rd Street by Church Lane. and Community Stage located onBroadway by McDonald’s Restaurant.

 

The following performers will entertain on Saturday at the main stage:  

Vinne Ferrone (11:30-12:15); Paul Addie and Friends (12:30-1:15); Party of Five (1:30-2:15); Mid-Life Crisis (2:30-3:15); Ronald Reagan Band (3:15-4:00); Richie Galdieri Project (4:30-5:15); Blue Dawg Reunion (5:30-6:30); and Jerseyjam (7:00-8:00).

The following entertainers will perform on Saturday at the community stage:

Beeman and Bannon (11:30-12:00); Hometown Talent (12:15-12:45); Ariel and Moana (1:00-2:00); Batman and Supergirl (2:00-3:00); Children’s Choir of Bayonne (3:15-3:45); Funlot (4:00-4:30); Artist Avenue (4:45-5:15); Artist Avenue (5:30-6:00); Universal Warrior MMA (6:15-6:45); Hometown Talent (7:00-7:30); and Hometown Talent (7:30-8:00).

The following performers will entertain on Sunday at the main stage:

V-Music (12:00-12:45); District Band (1:15-2:00); Joe Taino Band (2:30-3:15); Powder Finger 3:45-4:45); and Treble Band (5:15-6:00).

The following entertainers will perform on Sunday at the community stage:

Greg Aulden (12:00-12:30); Max Challenge (12:30-2:00); Belle and Pocahontas (2:00-3:00); Spiderman and Wonderwoman (3:00-4:00); Latin Groove (4:15-4:45); Hometown Talent (5:00-5:30); and Hometown Talent (5:30-6:00).
