BAYONNE, NJ - A community reading initiative launched last year to celebrate literacy is continuing in 2020 organizers have told TAPinto Bayonne.

Through the Bayonne Reads One Book, One Community, and thanks to the generosity of sponsor BCB Bank, all participants will read and discuss the same book.

On Monday, residents are invited to gather in the Gallery of the Bayonne Public Library for their final discussion on “The Things They Carried”, written by author and Vietnam Veteran Tim O'Brien. Considered to be one of the best works of fiction ever written about war, “The Things They Carried” is a collection of stories about the Vietnam War.
