BAYONNE, NJ- The Bayonne Farmers' Market opened for the season Tuesday, providing residents an opportunity to purhcase fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade desserts, and other delicous and nutritious items every Tuesday through the summer.
The Market is located at Fitzpatrick Park, next to Bayonne City Hall, and open every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Recognized vendors like Alstede Farms, Empanada Lady Food Truck, Dr. Pickle, and Paolos' Kitchen have returned, according to Lauren Halecky Dellabella, the market's founder. New vendors this week include Our Woods Maple Syrup and Products and Sassy Sweets Kitchen. Additional vendors will be on hand in the coming weeks.
"The Bayonne Farmers' Market is helping to foster a sense of community by bringing farmers and local businesses together right in our neighborhood," Dellabella told TAPinto Bayonne. "Our goal is to offer a wonderful variety of fresh and wholesome foods to our community."
