BAYONNE, NJ- Mayor Jimmy Davis and the City of Bayonne will kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a celebration benefiting the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Fund (BEOF).
The event, featuring live music by The Screaming Orphans, will take place at the Bayonne Masonic Lodge, 888 Avenue C, on Thursday, March 14.
Tickets are just $35 for the party that begins at 6:00 and includes Irish good and beverages. The event will also feature and Irish soda bread concert with first, second, and third place finishers winning Shop-Rite gift cards.
The Screaming Orphans, 4 sisters from Bundoran, County Donegal, have their roots in Celtic music and are known for incorporating pop, rock, and international styles into their music. Their hit song, “Taproom,” was named 2017 Folk/Pop/Rock Album of the Year by Folk ‘n’ Rock Magazine.
“Throughout the year, the BEOF provides socials services for seniors and and people of all ages in need,” Mayor Davis said in inviting guests to attend the special event.
