BAYONNE, NJ - Bayonne residents are invited to bring their furry and friends, at least of the dog and cat variety, to the firehouse at 16th Street on Avenue A to receive free rabies vaccinations on Saturday. Dogs will be seen from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and cats will be seen from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

No other animals will be treated at this clinic.

All dogs must be brought on a leash and cats brought pet carriers. Animals must be at least four months old. An adult Bayonne resident must accompany all animals to place them on the examination table, and must clean up after their pets.

The vaccinations will be administered free of charge by a licensed veterinarian. 

Residents are also reminded that dog and cat licenses must be renewed by Friday, January 31, 2020. A late fee of $5 will be added to the license fee, beginning Monday, February 3, 2020 .
