BAYONNE, NJ - Recycling pickups of paper, cardboard, cans, and bottles that normally take place on Wednesdays from 31st Street to 63rd Street will take place on Tuesday, December 24 this week. The changes, according to city officials, come as a result of Christmas.

Residents are advised to set their recyclables out on the night of Monday, December 23, to ensure pick-up the following day.

Scrap metal recycling pick-ups are canceled citywide on Tuesday and will resume on Tuesday, December 31.
