BAYONNE, NJ - In an effort to get them more active the Bayonne Office on Aging has announced that it is creating a new leisure group for senior and recently retired men in the City of Bayonne.
Along with the Recreation Division, the Office on Aging plans to offer socialization through activities such as playing cards, checkers, dominoes, sports discussions, and more. The group, according to a statement from Mayor Jimmy Davis’ office, will evolve “based on the interests of participants.”
The first meeting of the men’s group will be Monday, May 13 at the Senior Center located at 597 Broadway. The meeting will start at 11:00 a.m.
