BAYONNE, NJ - Bayonne children are invited to register to participate in several activities the Bayonne Public Library will be hosting to celebrate National Library Week.

National Library Week is April 7 through April 13.

On Monday, April 8, children are invited to come to the library dressed as a character from their favorite book. The contest will begin at 3:30 p.m. and is open to children of all ages. Prizes will be given out for the best costume and children will have a chance to play a Book Bingo game after it is concluded.

Children in grades 3-6 are also invite to make their own bookmark and drop them off at the library during the week. The winner of the design-a-bookmark contest will be announced on Friday, April 12.

Registration for these events begins Monday and runs until Friday.
