BAYONNE, NJ - An experiment by NJ Transit to expand bus service between Bayonne, Jersey City, and Midtown Manhattan to seven days a week has been made permanent, Mayor Jimmy Davis recently announced.

Sunday service on the 119 route was originally added earlier this year on a pilot basis, operating previously on weekdays and Saturdays only.

“My Administration has been working hard to expand transportation options for Bayonne residents,” Davis said thanking NJ Transit for offering a one-seat ride to Manhattan on Sundays. “The 119 Bus enables our residents to get to work in Midtown Manhattan and to enjoy the Broadway Theater District and other New York attractions.”

New York destination is the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
