The Secaucus hospital is New Jersey’s third mass testing center which began operations as a cooperative venture between Hudson County and the hospital to test at-risk Hudson County residents.

“The state approved sites in Monmouth and Bergen counties, but we felt we needed one of our own,” said County Executive Tom DeGise.

The hospital has been accommodating 200 to 250 people per day.

In order to avoid the massive crowds that hampered operations in the other testing centers, Hudson County restricted who could get the testing and instituted a pre-test screening, as well as setting up an appointment for those who will be screened and tested.

Testing at Hudson Regional is by appointment only and is open to any Hudson County resident who is suffering from fever, cough or shortness of breath.

To schedule an appointment, residents can call 201-388-1097 or 646-862-1161.

To volunteer at the testing center email Christina Buiteb-Bianco.
