BAYONNE, NJ - In a letter to students and their families in which he acknowledged again that “the COVID19 pandemic has taken a toll on students, families, friends and colleagues,” Superintendent John Niesz  confirmed that Bayonne High School seniors will be celebrated through graduation ceremonies, with certain restrictions.

The district will offer two graduation options. There will be a virtual ceremony on June 24 at 8:00 p.m. for all high school students. These can be viewed at  bboed.org at any time after the graduation.

The district is also offering a drive-in ceremony on June 23 in Stephen Gregg Park, which will follow state guidelines for social gatherings and will include the awarding of diplomas electronically.
