BAYONNE, NJ - Bayonne children four to six years old, and their parents, will have their pick of programs at the Bayonne Public Library starting the week of March 12.

On Tuesdays, Just Kids Play will offer creative movement, songs, and hands-on activities from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Mother Goose rhymes will be the foundation for Drama Play, 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., promoting literacy through the creation of dramatic art. 

On Wednesdays, the Lapsit Program will feature stories, fingerplays, movement, socialization, and creative play with toys. Parents or caregivers must accompany children to this half-hour program that will start at 11:00 a.m.

The library will also host Crafternoon on Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. offering children the opportunity to create seasonal or everyday crafts.

Mother Goose rhymes will once again form the program as children create their own sing-a-long rhymes on Thursdays 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Capping off the week will be Oh the Places We Will Go, an opportunity for children to visit communities and meet community leaders through storytelling. The hourlong program will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursdays.

Registration for all of these programs will begin on Monday, February 25 and run until Friday, March 1.
