BAYONNE, NJ - Bayonne’s City Democratic Organization will extend the terms of their current committee people until June 2021, Mayor Jimmy Davis, who also serves as the BCDO Chairman, announced Monday.

The decision comes in response to efforts to limit large gatherings and adhere to social distancing as communities continue to grapple with COVID-19, coronavirus, and was made possible by Governor Phil Murphy’s Executive Order 105 that temporarily changed certain election procedures.

Saying that the decision came after much research, advice, and consultation Davis added that his Administration is“doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our community.”
