Mayor Jimmy Davis and the entire Bayonne Council this week announced their endorsement of the Together We Can Ticket for Bayonne Board of Education.
“I am supporting the Together We Can ticket of Jan Patrick Egan 12D, Lisa Burke 13D, and Melissa Matthews 14D, and I urge all residents to join me in voting for them. They have no conflicts or personal agendas and as parents, they are passionate about the quality of our public schools. They are the best choice for our community,” said Mayor Jimmy Davis.
Council President and Council Member At-Large Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski said, “This team will be a strong and clear voice for Bayonne’s children and teachers. I am proud to stand with Mayor Davis and the Council to support Jan, Lisa, and Melissa and look forward to working with them to continue to improve our City.”
“Bayonne needs leaders like Jan Patrick Egan, Lisa Burke, and Melissa Matthews as allies in the fight to increase the quality of education for our kids. I have seen first hand their efforts and I know they will be champions for our community while serving on the Board of Education,” stated Council Member At-Large Juan M. Perez.
“We are lucky to have three fierce advocates for our children in this race. I am excited to support the Together We Can Team and to help them bring their vision and plans to the Board,” continued 2nd Ward Council Member Salvatore Gullace.

With their unique backgrounds in business, law, and economics, they equipped to lead our schools into the future .” stated 1st Ward Council Member Neil Carroll III.
