BAYONNE, NJ - Local dogs and cats received rabies vaccines on Saturday, turning the 16th Street Firehouse into a makeshift “animal house."

Lisa of Bayonne Veterinary told TAPInto Bayonne that the turnout was great as dozens of the furry friends were led into the firehouse by their doting people.

The City of Bayonne, under the leadership of Municipal Clerk Madeline Medina partnered with Bayonne Veterinary Medical and the Bayonne Fire Department to host the free event.
