BAYONNE, NJ - Mayor Jimmy Davis has confirmed that a second Bayonne resident has tested positive for coronavirus. The 27-year-old woman, Davis said, has been under isolation and monitoring for a few days.
“In the coming days we will probably see a rise in cases throughout our community,” Davis warned, offering another assurance that local officials are doing all they can to secure the safety of residents.
“There is no need for fear or panic,” Davis reminded residents. “Continue to use a common sense approach to combating its spread.”
Davis announced the first case of coronavirus in a Bayonne resident on Wednesday.
