BAYONNE, NJ - Two Bayonne men and a male juvenile were arrested on Tuesday in connection with a string of graffiti incidents that have occurred across the city.

According to Captain Joseph Scerbo the arrests of Jeremy Marion, 18, Seth Lupianez, 19, and the juvenile came with the assistance of the New Jersey Transit Police Department.

The suspects are accused of spray painting several swastikas, as well as the words “ATOMWAFFEN DIVISION,” in three locations: Dennis P. Collins Park; 8th Street, between Broadway and Avenue C on the “Faces of Bayonne” portraits; and on the glass black partition wall at the 45th Street Light Rail platform.

The words, according to an online search, refer to a neo-Nazi terrorist network.

Revealing he held off on making public comments on the incidents earlier so as to not jeopardize the investigation Mayor Jimmy Davis said that the Bayonne community “rejects swastikas, nooses, and all other hateful symbols and everything that they represent.”
